| 2010 National Public Policy Award |
Susan received the 2010 Public Policy Award for her advocacy work on health care reform from Women Impacting Public Policy (WIPP)* in Washington, D.C.
This award "is presented to a member who sets an example of the power each of us has by becoming actively engaged in the political process."
Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi recognized Susan in a letter to mark this occasion: “Thank you for all the effort and dedication you have demonstrated in your impassioned advocacy for health care reform and for small businesses.”
* WIPP is a national nonpartisan public policy organization that advocates for and on behalf of women and minorities in business. WIPP represents 500,000 women throughout the United States. |

| Susan was recognized as Member of the Year by the San Francisco Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners in 2007. She headed a major new initiative, Leaders’ Circle, a facilitated peer support group for women business owners with $2 million or more in revenues. |
